Kanoya Sushi Grill and Bar in Hawaii

"I called and asked if they have parking close becuz my mom cannot walk too far. Aaron answered the phone and said "no worries, I'll block a space or 2 or 3 if you like" I said "what? Never of that". He said I got you. We arrived, had up close parking and immediate service. Beverages came fast, ordered food and it came fast and so appealing. We had multiple drinks and our server Cindy was so attentive. Cannot say enough about this 1st time experience. I'm hooked and will go back for sure. I owned my own catering business and know it's a beast, with competition, advertising and maintaining quality and efficiency. If you've never been, go try this place. You won't be disappointed."

"I honestly love this place so much! The food was amazing, the beers were great, and the plating was beautiful. They’re also starting their happy hour soon — totally worth it! Big shoutout to Aaron and Cindy for their awesome service; I truly appreciate their kindness and hard work. We came here because of the cozy ambiance and perfect location — it’s such a beautiful spot, plus free parking! Definitely recommending this place."

"The BEST sushi I’ve ever had. Everything tasted so fresh and very well made. They even brought out a little vase with that had vapor flowing out of it for a presentation. Service was excellent! We ordered green tea but it seemed that they mixed some matcha powder with hot water and brought it out. We requested hot water with lemon instead and they took back the green liquid and didn’t charge us. More people need to know about this place because they deserve higher ratings and more reviews. "We walked from Waikiki beach, worth the walk. Kids bento box was perfect. Everything was so good we just kept ordering food. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Reasonable prices. Best sushi."

"Found this gem hidden on Kapiolani living in the shadows of 24 hour fitness. I'm happy to be able to reserve a booth cause we order a lot. I love their sashimi platters that come with dry ice effect. The service is pretty quick and they attend to you. I overheard the server trying to explain to tourists what a lava flow was and the different rolls they offer. She had patience i wish I had. Parking is great after 6p when the street parking is available or weekend/ holidays when street parking is allowed."

"The best and freshest sushi I have had in sooo long! Visiting from the Midwest and was hoping to find a sushi place I could order takeout from without the food losing quality. This hit the spot! The pricing was great and the rolls we ordered were amazing! The fried rice was fresh, and not overly oily/greasy like many other places have. So happy we found this place and chose this one over the dozen others near our hotel!"

"This was an amazing restaurant! My daughter couldn’t stop raving about all the hibachi steak she had, and it was absolutely delicious. Lean, perfectly cooked, melt in your mouth flavor. Honestly everything was so good, from the great atmosphere to fantastic service, and then add in some of the best sushi and miso soup, I’ve ever had!!! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for ambience and good food, and will be back next time we come to Oahu."
